Winnie and Tucker's little ones are 5 weekds old.

Momma Winnie and Charlie Tucker had puppies the first part of June.  I can not belive that they are already 5 weeks old.  They are growing up so fast, and getting cuter every moment.
I am happy to report that all the puppies have found their forever families and are very excited to explore their new homes.

This is our little Arther.
He is a little heart breaker and he knows it!

This is Bella Jade, she is a relaxed little girl.  This week she won the Photo Hound Award.

This is the puppy that we are going to keep.  We are currently in a heated debate about her name.  We are naming all of our new additions after cars and each of us has a favorite.  I thought that we had settled on Delorian, but Morgan Baby Doll, and Shelby Cobra are also on the table.

Anyway I better round everyone up for bed, Momma gets to sleep by herself tonight.
Until next week.
Stay Safe and give your puppy a hug from Iowa.

Before and After Spa Day

Sorry I have really gotten behind with my blogging.  I had no IDEA it took soo much work to raise 3 puppies at the same time.  I seem to spend all my time potty training, obediance training, grooming,
keeping EVERY item in the house off the floor

and massive amounts of time laughing.

This is Fiat Spyder at 11 months old before and after her hair cut.
Spyder has just started to settle down and has become quite a lap dog.  Even though she was my 40th birthday present Rick is her favorite human.  She follows him around and has made up her own games to play with him.

This is Chevy Nova at 8 months old.
Nova is Sir Saul's daughter, and I can see the resemblance every day.  Even though Nova and Saul did not meet until she was 8 weeks old they have a very special bond.  Nova always says hi to dad first.
It is so funny and special to watch Nova and Saul play together.
Nova is our BIGGEST CHEWER EVER, but she is finally starting to settle down.

This is Dodge Rampage back in May when he was 5 months old.

Here is Rampage this week at 7 months old.
Rampage is going to replace Saul in our breeding program when Sir Saul retires next year.
Rampage is a little steam engine, full of energy.  He passed Super Puppy training class in June with flying colors.  His favorite part was all the goat cheese he was able to eat for training.
Rampage is a little handful, the afternoon after his hair cut he found a puddle and came in the house
JET BLACK.
He is a little terror, but I spend soo much time laughing it is all worth it.

Momma Winnie is at 7 years old.  Winnie and Fawkes are full sisters. Winnie is planning her retirement after her next litter of puppies.

 Winnie after her hair cut.

This is Momma Fawkes  at 7 years old before and after grooming.
Fawkes just went to the vet to have her retirement procedure.

Sir Saul the Wise is now 8 years old.  It is hard to believe.
Saul is currently scheduled to retire next year, if all the stars align Fawkes and Saul would like to find a retirement home together.  They are love birds and can always be found together.

This is Charlie Tucker.  Our 10 year old clown,  too see him move you would not believe he was more than a year old.
We adopted Tucker last summer because he stole my heart.  Even his bark makes me laugh.

Merry Christmas!

Our little boys at 5 weeks old.
It is almost Christmas.  With all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season it is nice to have little ones at home to remind me to take a minute and cuddle.
Our little girls at 5 weeks old.
This week the girls did not want to sit still for a group shot, because I promised them a tea party.
Tea Party!

Quick Snack
We will be having our puppy open house this coming weekend starting on Thursday December 26th and running through Sunday December 29th.  We still have a little prince looking for his forever family.  I will post which puppies have homes and what their forever names are as soon as I know.

We hope everyone has a safe Christmas!

Winnie's Rock and Rollers are 4 weeks old

The puppies are doing wonderfully and growing so quickly.  This week the puppies have invaded the living room, and are enjoying exploring the world around them.  Auntie Esme and Spyder have been enjoying giving them lots of kisses and trying to keep them out of too much trouble, or maybe they are helping them get into trouble,  I will have to watch and see.
Our Little Princes

I am very happy to share that the puppies started using the potty park this past week.  It is amazing to watch a puppy that is just learning to walk, make a trip over to the potty park and go to the bathroom.  Momma and I are Super Proud, and it makes our life easier as the puppies stay cleaner. I was able to get a video, I just have to edit and upload it.
Our Princesses.

The puppies have switched from puppy gruel to puppy food soaked in water, however their teeth are coming in and they LOVE to chew on dry food as well.  Right now we are feeding a 50/50 blend of Purina ProPlan Selects Chicken and Rice all life stages and Taste of the Wild High Prairie puppy food.  Both foods are no grain, and perfect for puppies little tummies.
Yummy Dinner!

Well I better be off.  Today the puppies are getting more room in their playpen, so I can add some toys ;-) Next week we will have a tea party and get all dressed up.
We do have 3 little boys still avaible as of this pot on Sunday Dec 15, 2013.  They will be ready to go home on January 10th 2014.

Winnie's Rock And Rollers are 3 weeks old!

First Dinner of Gruel, and the puppies were all Kisses.

I have to admit it is hard to come up with themed nick names for each litter of puppies.  This litter really had me stumped.  It is Super easy to come up with cute little girl names, but little boys are a little more difficult.  These little boys got me started.  I just couldn't shake calling my little boy with the dark markings the man in black, and then when I was giving the puppies their bath I got stuck on Blue Suede shoes.  I finally found a plethora of little boy names.  But I wanted to narrow our theme, and then I got stuck for little girls.

I am happy to introduce Winnie's  Rock and Rollers!
John Denver, we will call him Denver.
Our Man in Black. Johnny Cash, or Cash for short.
Elvis, lets hope he doesn't have a hankering to chew on Blue Shoes.
And Little Sonny, the smallest of the litter.
 Our Little Rockers!

Please give a round of applause to our Cher.
Momma Cass, or Cass for short.
 And our Little Blondie!
Our Little Rollers!

This week was filled with firsts for the puppies, we had baths, started eating solid foods, moved out of the birthing box and into the playpen, and received Micro-chips.  The puppies are full of energy and excited to see what is behind the couch.  Momma Winnie and I are tired, but enjoying each new experiance the puppies share with us.  The puppies are really starting to shake, rattle and roll (starting to explore the world around them), it won't be long and we will be chasing the puppies around the living room and playing hide and seek.
I took over 200 pictures this week, but was able to weed it down to 140.
I have also created a facebook page for,
So that our past, present and future puppy owners can see pictures of our puppies, adult dogs and post pictures of their puppies.

Happy Birthday!!!!

Winnie as she started going into labor.  Winnie started showing signs that she was going to have puppies on Wednesday evening.  But it was a false alarm.  I stayed with her Thursday and Friday.
Friday evening the puppies were ready to make their big debut.
Winnie is a fantastic Mom.  She refused to let me leave her side when the big event started.  Thank goodness their was enough warning so I had all of our supplies right at hand.
Winnie was tired and and getting ready to be done.  If you look in her eyes you can tell.
Winnie had 7 perfect little ones.  3 little girls and 4 little boys.
Winnie and pups after a well deserved nights rest.  Winnie is so proud to be a Momma!  And the sparkle is back in her eyes.

As of this morning we have 4 or 5 puppies still looking for their forever homes.  The puppies will be able to have visitors the weekend after Christmas and will be ready to go home around January 11th, 2014.
If you are interested send Winnie and I an email at honeyridgepuppies@gmail.com or lorettaspins@gmail.com
