Empty Nest

We are happy to share that all of Spirit's sprites have found loving forever homes!
Little Princess Nee, is now Princess Lily and a forever Cyclone fan!
Although it takes a bit to adjust to having no extra little ones underfoot, we try to take extra time to play and love our adult dogs during the transition.
Opal has been great keeping Spirit busy playing tag and making sure that Spirit always has a girl friend to cuddle with.
Spirit LOVES movies, and it is the perfect time of year to sit and cuddle up with our furry friends and a great movie.
We are hoping to welcome more little ones into our lives Spring 2020, if you would like to be added to our waiting list please let me know.
Thank you for following our puppies as they grow.

Spirit's Last Sprite is almost 9 weeks old!

Our Little Princess Nee is almost 9 weeks old!
She is such a wonderful little sprite is so much fun to play with.
This afternoon she was a little more into playing with her toy than having her picture taken, but we got a few.

Ever have one of those days, when you think it is safe to make a face,
and then some lady with a camera puts your picture all over the internets???

And you said I should check down here for what again???
Momma Spirit Jumping for Joy.
I have a few more pictures of our last little sprite Princess Nee uploaded to share.
And I have shared a few videos of Nee on our facebook page.

If you are interested in learning more about Princess Nee please send me an email at

And then there was one.

We have one little gem still waiting to find her forever family. She is a true gem and is enjoying having a little alone time with mommy now that the other puppies have gone home.
Her nickname is Princess Nee, and she is as cute as can be.

It was kind of a crazy weekend with puppies going home and me feeling just a bit under the weather.
But our little princess is truely enjoying being the center of attention for a little bit.
If you are interested in Little Princess Nee, she was the smallest of the litter when her siblings went home. Princess Nee is has also started potty training and is used to sleeping in her own private sleeping chambers with a puffy blanket, toys and a chewy.
Princess Nee is not a loud puppy, but she does love to play and cuddle.
If you are interested in adding her to your family please send me an email to
honeyridgepuppies@gmail.com

We are currently debating on how many litters we will have in 2020. We do have a waiting list started for 1 litter of puppies and are thinking of breeding to a waiting list in the future. So please let me know if you would like to be added to our waiting list.

Thanks for checking out our little pups,
Loretta and friends.

Spirit's Sprites are taking on the leaves!

This pictures makes me say Charlie and his angels.
With our little Ose out front, and the girls in the back.
Tooo Cute.
It is hard to believe they will start going home in a few very short days.
Our Princess Ryne has found her forever home here in Iowa.
Prince Ose is going to be a Packers Fan!
And our Princess Feo is planning on checking out the Cubs in the spring.
We do have one Princess who is still looking for her forever family and that is our Princess Nee.
Princess Nee is a bright little girl with lots of cuddles to share.
Another snapshot of our Princess Nee.

This week the puppies are continuing potty training, and learning how to sleep alone in their kennels.
I hope to have the pictures of our tea party before bath time up soon as well.
Thank you for your interest in our little pups.

Spirit's Sprites are 5 weeks old!

Good Evening!
It is hard to belive that Spirit's Sprites are already 5 weeks old, and ready to start having visitors!
The pups have their first vet visit Friday afternoon and then we will be ready for open house weekend.
There were just too many cute pictures this week.
I am not sure why but they may have gotten a bit shuffled in the upload.

This week's photo hound is our Princess Nee.
Her photo shoot was split in half due to a phone call, but she really stepped up to the plate.

Princess Ryne is our girl in Purple. This week she is voted as our girl friday, always looking for what's new in her envirnment.
Ryne's hair is shorter but very thick.
Princess Feo was voted longest hair this week. Feo is a fluffy cuddle bunny.

 Kisses???
Prince Ose loves to explore, and see if he can discover new things before the princesses.
Ready to go for a run in the pumpkin patch???
The puppies have started going outside with mom and dad to potty. Everything outside is still new and they are a little hesitant, but in the next week or so they will really start to motor and chase.
We still have 2 princesses and our prince charming looking for their forever homes.  If you are interested please send me an email at
honeyridgepuppies@gmail.com
I will get back to you by email or telephone call as soon as I can.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Spirit's Sprites are 4 weeks old!

Spirit's Sprites are excited to take center stage. They just went down for a nap after taking over the kitchen. :-)
This is Ose our little prince in red.
He is very outgoing and always looking out for his little sisters.
Princess Ryne is in Purple. Ryne has a slightly slicker goat than the other princesses.
Princess Nee is in Black. Nee has very beige ears at the moment. They will probably fade as she gets older but they are very cute.
Our little Princess Feo, I think has found a home.
Feo also has slightly beige ears that will more than likely fade as she gets older.
 Group Shot
The pumpkins were grown in our pumpkin patch this year.
The grass was just too wet to take pictures in so we took advantage of the pretty orange.
The newest pictures!!!
We still have one prince and 2 princesses looking for homes from this litter.
If you are interested please send me an email at
honeyridgepuppies@gmail.com
If you would like a telephone call back please let me know and I will return your call as soon as I can.

We hope you have a wonderful Sunday,
Loretta and Pups

Nova's Merry Pups have all gone home

I am happy to share that Nova's Merry Pups have all found their forever homes. And went home this weekend!
This is a picture of Nova when she was just a few years younger.
She is still a very bright star in our home.
She will be the first pup to figure out something new and exciting to try.

Nova's Merry Pups potty training fun!

Happy Friday!
It is hard to believe Nova's Merry Pups will start going home next weekend already. We have been working on potty training the past week. The puppies now go in and out to potty with mom, dad and their aunts.  It is a major accomplishment for me when all 4 come in and out without scattering. First thing in the morning and when I get home from work we have a stampede to the door. I usually end up laughing as I have a mob of puppies around my feet.
We have one Merry pup left looking for his forever family.
Sir Robin Hood is a real charmer and a bit of an old soul, very patient.

Sir Bentley is looking forward to heading home next weekend.
Sir Bentley is a Royal Charmer, always by my feet looking for some hugs.
Miss Millie is a Diva when the camera comes out. And she loves to give kisses.
Miss Millie is looking forward to going home with Teddy very soon.

Teddy is very happy to be going to his forever home with his bestest sister Millie.
Group Photo!!

Nova's Merry Pups also have a potty patch in the house to assist with potty training, however they do prefer to go out and will whine when they need to go.
I like to say that I passively
potty train with mom and dad being our good examples. So our pups have a good head start, but I would also say that they have a ways to go.  Sometimes they will play and forget to take a moment for themselves.
However watching them run to the door to go out is one of those heart warming moments of my day. And the puppy kisses are my favorite.

Spirit's Pups get their first collars!

Spirit's little sprites are 3 weeks old already.
This afternoon they had a bath and got their first collars. Each puppy will have a boarder around their pictures that matches their collar.
Kim helped pick out some Sprite names from her final fantasy game, I think they are Gaelic.

This little girl is nick named Nee
This little cutie is Ryne, also a princess.
We have one little boy, he is nick named Ose.
Feo is our last princess sprite.
This picture of Feo made me laugh.
 Group Shot
Auntie Opal checking out the puppies new collars.
Daddy Rampage give the pups some kisses after their bath.

Mommy Spirit keeps a watchful eye on the pups outside. The puppies have also graduated to a play pen with a potty patch to assist in potty training them.
All of the puppies in this litter are still available to go home starting October 18th 2019.
If you are interested in our pups please send me an email to
honeyridgepuppies@gmail.com

I am happy to call or email in return.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Growing Up Fast

I cannot believe the puppies are already 6 weeks old.
They grow up so fast.
So far only 1 of the puppies has found their forever home.
The pup formerley known as Little John has found his forever home and is know known as Bentley!
Bentley is a real charmer and will be melting hearts all over Wisconsin.
Robin Hood has the longest coat of the group, and all the girls are jealous.
Friar Tuck is a tad bit shy, but once he warms up he keeps going and going.
The smallest pup is also the biggest Diva.
Our Maid Marion is a big heart breaker.

 Hanging out with Dad.
 Playing with Auntie Opal.
Exploring in the back yard.
The puppies have started potty training and love going out to play.  They are going outside 4-5 times everyday, they are still pretty young and after about 15 minutes or so are ready for a nice long cuddle and nap.
Nova's Merry Pups will be ready to go home September 20th, just in time to enjoy the fall leaves.
If you are interested in one of our puppies please send me an email to
honeyridgepuppies@gmail.com
I will respond as soon as I can and give you a call back.
The puppies can also have visitors if you would like to meet them in person.
I hope you have a safe and wonderful weekend!
