Just Starting to open their Eyes!

Nova's Little ones are not quite 2 weeks old and are starting to peek at the great big world around them.
I think we may have homes for all the puppies, I should know for sure later today.

 Our Princesses are adorable.
And The princes are very charming.
Daddy has been very vigilant, checking one the pups often.
Daddy Rampage loves to play and cuddle with pups, but he know they are still too little to play, so he pops over to their box to check on them and let them know is is watching out for them.
I like to say it takes a village to raise puppies. Here we have the whole family checking out the puppies while they took a nap after our photo session.
Opal's little ones have also been checking up on the little pups, they are learning the word careful and No, as they love to nap with the pups but still have to be monitored so they don't try to play with the little ones.
I have been trying to get a picture of them napping together as it is very cute to see the littles napping on top of our older Snowbirds, but as soon as they see me with a camera the older pups jump up and and scatter. :-)
Little Fred was the first older puppy to think he needed to nap with his younger siblings, and he has been encouraging the other pups to do so as well.
The older pups are going to get a bath and pictures this afternoon, but my son needs some help with his car so my helpers are all in the garage.

I hope that you have a wonderful day,

The Snow Birds after their first bath day!

Opal's little snow pups had their first spa day today.
Lots of new experiences that totally tired them out.
We do have 1 little prince still looking for a home, and he will be ready to Join his new family March 6th.

Olaf is the bigger of the 2 little guys. He is a cutie as well.
 Frosty is a little character.
Crystal is the smallest of our girls.
She also has the strongest opinions so far.
Elsa is the largest of the little girls.
Wynter is our middle girl, and she won the most photogenic this week.
After all the firsts the puppies needed some extra love, and Auntie Spirit was just the friend to offer support.

Nova @ 7 weeks

I was taking puppy pictures and of course everyone wanted to have their picture taken.
Nova is 7 weeks along, and on our pups favorite bed. But you can kind of see her thickening middle and her nose is a little faded. When Bichons are using all of their health reserves it is common for their normally dark black noses to fade just a bit.
Nova is getting prenatal vitamins and puppy food, so we know she is healthy and happy but I thought it was a nice tidbit to share.
And Daddy Rampage is also enjoying a quick respite before he heads back out to chase some squirrels.
I am currently editing the puppy pictures, but I also have been having a squirrel distraction disorder today.
It is so nice and sunny outside.
It might be a few more hours before I finish.

Opal's Little Snowbirds are a week old!

Opal's little ones have been growing like weeds. Everyday you can tell they grew overnight.
Our smallest little guy this week. 15.3 ounces.
And our Big little guy was 18.2 ounces
Today the smallest pup was a little princess weighing in at 14.9 ounces.
Our mid-weight little girl was 17.5 ounces, she just looks so cute in this little container.
And our biggest little girl weighed in at 18.6 ounces, who said boys are always bigger than girls?
Mamma Opal and Auntie Nova smiling for the camera.
Mom likes to jump up for treats. And she is pretty good at jumping.
Auntie Nova is expecting a litter of puppies late February, and is just starting to show.
I am happy to share we do still have 1 little prince charming puppy from Opal's litter looking for his forever family. Opal's puppies will start going home March 6th, 2020.
We also have a waiting list for Nova's litter started if you are interested in a pup a little later in the spring.
Please feel free to send me an email if you are interested in our little pups at
honeyridgepuppies@gmail.com

I am hoping to come up with 5 snow themed nicknames for this litter, until they have their forever names and will be sharing those in 2 weeks when the puppies get their 1st collars.
I hope you have a wonderful and safe week.
