Nova's puppies are 11 days old

Hello everyone~

After the hustle and bustle of the holiday had died down this week, we took some time to take some pictures of the puppies and Nova.
Currently we're using Pokemon-themed names to keep the puppies sorted out until they are old enough to be picked properly by their forever moms and dads. As they are still very young, the only characteristics they show now are their weights, giving an idea of their final size and current health, markings, and their relative noisyness! (the noisiest is currently Pidgey, the smallest boy, but they are all generally pretty quiet) The puppies still spend most of their time sleeping, and the rest of their time eating, so they haven't developed any personality yet. Luckily, their eyes should be opening soon, and that's when they'll start being more curious and playful, and start to become the fluffy little clouds of energy we know and love.

Some pictures of the little cuddle beans for you all:

Raichu, the largest male

Horsea, 2nd smallest male

Ditto, 2nd largest male

Ghastly, middle-sized male

Jynx, largest female

Eevee, smallest female

There are more pictures in our album here, if you're interested!

As of this posting, we do have 2 boys still available, but all the girls are spoken for.
If you have any questions, feel free to email or call us! We're always happy to answer any questions anyone may have~

Just a quick update

Just a quick update for everyone on the availability of the puppies.
As of right now, we only have 2 boys left unspoken for.

I've also just taken two short videos to share with you:

Nova's puppies 11/18/16

Nova's puppies are 4 days old today!

They've grown a fair bit in those 4 days, but are still very tiny of course~
We dug out the good camera, and took a few more pictures today. The puppies have nail polish on their ears so we can tell them apart, which is important beause we keep track of their weight the whole time we have them. That way we can prevent any little ones from falling too far behind, and find out early if they should happen to get sick.
So once their nail polish was dry, we took a few more pictures:

2 baby girls

5 baby boys

When we had them out for pictures, weighing, and dewclaw removal, Momma Nova was very concerned! Luckily the dewclaw procedure is quite quick and much more painless than you'd think. They were back in the nest box after only a few seconds, and enjoying cuddles and milk just like before.

We've also added a link to our sidebar about BarkBox. Many of our puppies' new parents have told us they love BarkBox, and their babies love to get new treats an toys every month. As Rampage is so energetic and playful, he goes through a lot of toys! So we've decided to start a BarkBox subscription for him. If you would like to get a Barkbox subscription of your own, you can visit our referral link. When you get a 6 month subscription, you get your first box free, and BarkBox will send a free box for Nova and Rampage! How cool is that?

We're also beginning to pick out the names we'll use for them while they're with us. We've narrowed our choices down to names themed on kinds of rocks (Granite, Mica, Marble) or original Pokemon (Ditto, Pidgey, Eevee). If you have a preference for one or the other, let us know in the comments! We'll make our decision and assign a name to each puppy once their eyes are open and they become big enough to wear a collar. That should be sometime next week or the week after, so we'll decide then!

Until then, thanks for reading, and if you're interested or have any questions, don't hesitate to send us an email at honeyridgepuppies@gmail.com

Nova's Puppies, Winter 2016

Nova and rampage decided they were having puppies when they definitely weren't supposed to! Nova couldn't stay at our family home and have puppies, due to some pesky circumstances. Luckily Kim recently came into a perfect situation to take over, so Nova and all her toys and supplies made a trip down to the city, for a little special treatment~

As a result, Nova has spent the last few weeks getting pampered by Kim and her husband Adam. She met Minnie, our first momma Bichon, who has been retired for about 6 years now. She also got to meet our 2 ferrets, Nixie and Nokk, who are always excited to meet a new potential playmate.
After 2 weeks of getting completely doted on, Nova went into labor this morning at about 6 am. After 8 hours of labor, she is now the proud mom of 7 brand new puppies! She has 5 beautiful boys, and 2 adorable girls.

Our 5 brand new boys

and 2 tiny baby girls!

These puppies will be ready to go to their forever homes in early January. As we weren't expecting another litter, especially so soon, none of these puppies are currently spoken for, so if you are interested in one of our little puppies please send us an email to honeyridgepuppies@gmail.com

The Last Puppy has gone home1

We have had a very busy summer at Honey Ridge and as the Summer comes to a close the last of the puppies has gone home.
We have really enjoyed raising Bichon Puppies, but now that both of our children have left the nest we have decided that we are no longer going to raise puppies.

Rampage has asked that we do mention that he is more than willing to provide stud services.

Rampage is a smaller bichon who is full of energy and loves to make me laugh.
This summer he was a very proud Daddy of 24 puppies!
11 beautiful daughters and 13 fine sons.

Anyway with the puppies off to start there new adventures, our adults love to spend time cuddling and now that the weather has cooled off spend a night out by the campfire. Which is were we are heading right now.

Have a wonderful Fall!

This weekend Winnie's puppies are starting to go home.  Yesterday Coco and Duchess went home, and today Xana and Elsa are heading home.
As this is the last litter of puppies we are planning, it is bitter sweet to see them go home.
I sweet for the puppies going home to start their new adventures, and kind of sad knowing they will be the last puppies to brighten my summers.
I hope to take new pictures of Sven to day and will post as soon as they are online.
