Spirit's Sprites have arrived!!

Thursday Evening Spirit's Puppies made their way into the big world.
Spirit waited until late in the day to start having her puppies.
The first little girl arrived about 6:30 at night.
All went well and the second little girl arrived about an 90 minutes later.
And first little boy arrived about 60 minutes after that.
The fourth puppy a little girl arrived just after 10 pm.
This is a picture of Maid Marion who is just about 4 weeks old with her half siblings.

It takes a village, Nova's Pups are 3 weeks old!

Have you heard the proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child?"
Although it might be a little pedantic, I have to say the same is true for a puppy.
In our little family we all take part in raising puppies.
Today we had a picnic, the puppies first outdoor exploratory mission to the garden.
Daddy Rampage let the girls handle the first mission but stood by as a emergency contact should he be needed.
Mom provided lunch, and a good adult perspective of relaxed but vigilant parent.
And our wild aunties, they provided the fun and entertainment. And lots and lots of kisses and encouragement.
Spirit provides backup during dinner. Spirit is looking forward to welcoming her own litter into the world soon. Spirit and Nova have a very close bond and she is always willing to back up her bestie.
One of our cute little guys.
Auntie Spirit providing emotional support on the first trip to the garden.
Another of our cute little ones enjoying the smells and sounds of the great outdoors.
 Auntie Opal playing big sis.
This one just made me say, ahhh how cute. This little one was cuddled next to an adult, checking out the world around them.
Auntie Opal playing too cute....
The first taste of grass! How exciting!
I took lots of photos of the puppies and our adult dogs playing in the grass today.  It was fun sharing in all the firsts of going outside.  Lots of sounds, smells, tastes and new colors not to mention the bugs :-)
I will pick up new collars this week and the puppies will get their first baths and spa day either this week or this weekend and then I will start color coding the pictures to each puppy.  Until then if you have questions about a specific puppy please send me the picture of the puppy and I can take a few special pictures for you.  This group of puppies has so much personality already. And they are super smart, like their mom, they have already learned how to get out of their playpen to explore the kitchen!
I think Opal, playing big sis, might have them on an accelerated learning course.

Thank you for following our blog, I update pictures as much as I can in-between puppy kisses!
We hope you have a fantastic week,

Picnic In the Garden

We had a busy weekend in the country. The puppies had their first car ride and did a great job napping the whole ride.  This afternoon they made their first journey out to the garden to have a quick picnic and then nap while I had an iced coffee.
Well, lets be honest....
I tried to have an iced coffee. But ended up with lots of puppy kisses and giggles.
I am sitting down to edit the 126 shots of the puppies and our adult dogs (who really need a bath) having a great afternoon play.

All 4 puppies are still looking for their forever homes.  This week's pictures are a little off our standard line, we just had fun and I didn't try to keep them separate. I will pick up some collars this week and as soon as the pups have a bath I will take a few more shots so that we can keep the pups identified.  Of this group they are all so different in personality already.  I think they are about a week ahead of past litters and I expect they will be tasting mom's food very soon.
Thanks for looking at our puppies!

Nova's Little Joy's are 2 weeks old!

Our little ones are opening their eyes and ears and starting to explore the kitchen.
Little puppers are supercute as they kinda scoot at this age.  They are also testing their vocal cords with tiny little barks and growls.
This first picture is from the littlest pup, he is just a fraction smaller than the other pups but he makes sure we all no that size doesn't matter that much.
This is our biggest prince this week. He was not happy to be pulled away from mom for some quick photo's but he quickly recovered and posed for a few snapshots.
And out middle puppy's eyes are not quite all the way open yet. But he sure does love to cuddle.
Our 3 little princes.  I am thinking maybe about doing a Robin Hood theme for nicknames this time.  We haven't done that before and it might be fun. Robin, Little John and Friar Tuck?
Which would only leave Maid Marion for our princess.
I am probably dating myself but I cannot think which was my favorite movie, the animated Disney movie or Robin Hood Men in Tights.  Brings back memories of my all time favorite movie.....
Princess Bride! Maybe we will use that one next time.

As of this evening all of our joyful little ones are still looking for their forever families.
If you are interested in one of our little ones please send me an email at

Thank you for Reading and we hope you have a great week!

Nova's July Joy! New Puppies!

Nova woke up early Sunday July 28th. Nova has a special little way of saying, "Mom, today the puppies are coming!" She wakes up in the wee early hours of the morning and asks to go potty. Then she says, "Mom, please don't leave my site today." So off we go to cuddle in bed because it is going to be a long day of cuddles and snuggles as Nova's little ones get ready to make their grand apperance.
Nova is the daughter of our first male bichon Sir Saul, a true gentleman if ever I have met one.
Our first little man arrived just as we were sitting down to dinner and about 30 minutes after I called the vet to say she might get a late night phone call. So about 7:30 PM
Our 1 and only princess of the litter was born about 30 minutes later.
And by 8:45 all 4 bundles of Joy had arrived and were peacefully cuddling with mommy.
We stayed up to supervise until finally calling it a night about 10:30 pm.

I just finished notifying everyone on my waiting list of the new arrivals. If you had sent an email about pups and you didn't get an email from me please let me know, I can and do make mistakes.
I will update with new pictures and how many little guys are still looking for homes this Friday August 2nd.  These guys will be ready to meet new people Labor Day weekend and will be ready to go home September 22nd, 2019.
Get ready for puppy kisses very soon!😍😍😍

On a side note our little Spirit may also be expecting a little one or two soon, She was not showing signs of being ready but alas Rampage thought she was and cuddling with her this weekend I am guessing that she will also be blessing our house with a little gem or two very soon.
Thank you for looking at our little joy's!
