Have you heard the proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child?"
Although it might be a little pedantic, I have to say the same is true for a puppy.
In our little family we all take part in raising puppies.
Today we had a picnic, the puppies first outdoor exploratory mission to the garden.
Daddy Rampage let the girls handle the first mission but stood by as a emergency contact should he be needed.
Mom provided lunch, and a good adult perspective of relaxed but vigilant parent.
And our wild aunties, they provided the fun and entertainment. And lots and lots of kisses and encouragement.
Spirit provides backup during dinner. Spirit is looking forward to welcoming her own litter into the world soon. Spirit and Nova have a very close bond and she is always willing to back up her bestie.
One of our cute little guys.
Auntie Spirit providing emotional support on the first trip to the garden.
Another of our cute little ones enjoying the smells and sounds of the great outdoors.
Auntie Opal playing big sis.
This one just made me say, ahhh how cute. This little one was cuddled next to an adult, checking out the world around them.
Auntie Opal playing too cute....
The first taste of grass! How exciting!
I took lots of photos of the puppies and our adult dogs playing in the grass today. It was fun sharing in all the firsts of going outside. Lots of sounds, smells, tastes and new colors not to mention the bugs :-)
I will pick up new collars this week and the puppies will get their first baths and spa day either this week or this weekend and then I will start color coding the pictures to each puppy. Until then if you have questions about a specific puppy please send me the picture of the puppy and I can take a few special pictures for you. This group of puppies has so much personality already. And they are super smart, like their mom, they have already learned how to get out of their playpen to explore the kitchen!
I think Opal, playing big sis, might have them on an accelerated learning course.
If you have questions about our little puppies please send me an email at

Thank you for following our blog, I update pictures as much as I can in-between puppy kisses!
We hope you have a fantastic week,
Loretta and Pups
