Heading Home!

Good Morning!
It sure is great to hear the birds chirping in the mornings!
The puppies are starting to head home this morning.  It is such an exciting time for them!
We had one family that decided that now was not a good time to bring a puppy home, so we do have 1 little guy still looking for his forever family.

Please send me an email if you are interested in a cute cuddly Bichon Puppy to add to your family!

Good Evening,
The puppies are getting ready to start their new adventures with their forever families.  We are super happy the weather has improved so that the puppies can go outside to play and potty with mom and dad.

We have 1 little guy patiently waiting to find his forever family.

Bang is a fun loving, adventure seeking, playful guy who loves to play games and cuddle.
Bang is frequently found very near my feet, and he loves to hide behind my feet and play peek a boo with the other puppies.

Of course we cannot forget our all star cast!

Romping in the yard with our adult dogs. The puppies love to play tag! And Hide and Seek!

Little Boom is looking forward to watching Cyclone games with his family.
Boom and Bing look like twins!
Bing was very happy to have fantastic weather to play chase.

Quinc (formerly Toothless) flies over the ground in his joy of warmer weather.

Quinc and Bang taking a quick break to pose for a picture.

It is hard to believe that the puppies are heading home starting this Friday.  They grow up so fast.
I am hoping that we might see some daffidils this weekend as well and I might be able to get a few pictures with the puppies smelling the new spring flowers.
If you are interested in learning more about our puppies or have questions about Bichons in general please send me an email at

I hope you have a wonderful St. Patrick's day!

Ready to take on the Kitchen Spirit's little ones are exploring the world.

The puppies are up and about and tons of fun to play with.
And boy are they getting lots of love from both their human family and their Bichon Family!
Our first Pick family choose Boom, our puppy with the Blue collar.
But it might have been Boom who chose them.

Toothless is the puppy with a black border on his pictures.  Toothless is the smallest boy of the litter.
He is too cute and loves to cuddle!
Bang, the puppy with a green border is our explorer.
When working in the kitchen Bang is always following me about and when he gets tired of exploring he asks to be picked up and cuddled.
Just too cute for words.
Another shot of Bang checking out the 'gummy worm' from the bark box.
And here is Bang climbing up onto the puff we have set up for visitors to sit on and play with the puppies.

This is Bing, the puppy with a brown border.  Big is a cute little guy with a little alfalfa curl on both his ear and just before his eye.
He is a big charmer.
Big loves to play and then have a nice good cuddle.

Sorry I have not updated as often as I would like, I have been busy with work and of course getting lots of puppy kisses.  It has been a real challange to keep the puppies busy with the weather we have been having.
We still have 2 puppies looking for homes.
If you are interested please send me an email at
honeyridgepuppies@gmail.com
The puppies will be ready to go home March 22nd!
Hard to believe it is just a few short weeks away.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Spirit's Little ones are 4 weeks old and starting to motor!

While the weather outside is cold and wet, the puppies have been warm and growing in the kitchen.  Our little ones are starting to motor and are enjoying exploring and playing with our adult dogs as well.
I am happy to say that we still have 2 little boys looking for homes.
Our Smallest Prince is Toothless. He is a spunky little guy who loves a good cuddle.

Our Next little Prince is Bing.
Bing is a little explorer.

This little guy is Boom.
He is a real charmer.
This is Bang.
Bang is a thinker.
This litter had 1 princess.
She was not happy about bath day.
Our little Lera is excited that soon she will meet her new family in Missouri.

As always I take way too many pictures. Please feel free to check them out.

We are planning anopen house for the weekend of March 2nd and 3rd 2019

Spirit's Winter Weeds are 3 weeks old!

It has been a cold and snowing winter, and again today it is snowing.
But tucked in the kitchen nice and warm. Spirit and her 5 little weeds are cuddled up warm and safe.
This is Spirit's first litter and she is a great mom. Her friend Nova has been very helpful showing Spirit all that needs to be done when you have a full garden to tend.  All the puppies are healthy and growing up so very fast.
This is our smallest little prince.
I think his nickname will be Toothless.
Staying with a How to Tame your Dragon theme.
This little guy's nickname is Bing.
This little prince is such a cutie.  His nickname is Bang.
And this little prince shall be nicknamed, Boom.

 Group Shot!!
Toothless, Bing, Bang & Boom.
Just too cute for words.
And we cannot leave out our little Lera.
She is a little heart breaker.

The ribbons on the puppies were used for pictures only! Then promptly removed.  Our little gems should be big enough to have their first collars by next week.  They have been micro-chipped with prepaid Buddy chips so we can tell them apart.
As of February 17th we still have 3 little guys looking for their forever homes.
This litter will be ready to go home the evening of March 22nd.
If you would like to see more pictures, I love taking pictures, maybe not the editing part......

Spirit's Little ones are 1 week old!

Wow, did we have a cold week here in Iowa.

The puppies have been cuddled up and warm with Mama Spirit.
The puppies are very close to the same size, but 1 little guy is just a bit smaller.
We have one little princess and I think she is starting to open her eyes already!
Our princess has already found her forever family.

However we do have 4 little boys who are looking for families.
I think this little guy is starting to open his eyes already!

This guy is just a little bit smaller than the other princes. Only by a little, but enough to notice.

With the warmer weekend weather, our adult Bichons all had a wonderful bath and hair cut.

If you have any questions about our little pups, please feel free to send me an email at

I hope you have a wonderful week!

Cold but full of Cuddles!

Our little Spirit had 5 puppies Saturday January 26th 2019!!!
These little guys will be ready to go home March 23rd.

Spirit had a very quick delivery time. Her first puppy was born just before 6 pm and the last little guy was born at 8:20 pm.
We are proud to share pictures of Spirit's 4 little boys and 1 little girl.
So while the weather is cold outside, we will have lots of warm cuddles inside.
More Pictures can be found in our Photo album.
